Alitagtag
The Municipality of Alitagtag is a 4th Class Municipality recognized for its peaceful atmosphere in the heart of Batangas. Situated about 17 kilometers from Batangas City and 101 kilometers from Manila, it is designated as one of the residential corridors of the South. This coastal town, part of the Taal Volcano Protected Landscapes (TVPL), offers stunning views of Taal Lake and Volcano and has promising potential for significant residential developments. Currently, agriculture and employment services are the primary sources of income for residents, while Alitagtag is also famous for its karosa (float) making industry and the "Tapusan Festival," which celebrates the community's faith, craftsmanship, and artistry.
